Movement, Mindfulness, and Pain Science (MMAPS) Pain Program
Movement, Mindfulness, and Pain Science (MMAPS) gives individuals with pain the tools to change their life by decreasing pain, increasing function, and improving quality of life.
The program is an eight-week, comprehensive, individualized, skilled physical therapy program in a group setting. It is led by two physical therapists who are experts in pain. It combines the latest research of three approaches to pain: movement, mindfulness, and pain science education.
Inclusion in this program requires a referral to physical therapy from your physician.
- First, contact your doctor about a referral for physical therapy concerning your pain. Then call MMAPS at 541-451-7125 to set up an evaluation with a physical therapist to determine if the program is right for you.
